2. LEGAL BASIS OF OPERATION
The full operation of Béri Boldogság Birtok is carried out by Kuhn Tamás Zoltán, sole trader under an operating and agency contract with

Under that contract Kuhn Tamás Zoltán in particular:
- runs the accommodation in full;
- handles bookings;
- keeps contact with guests;
- handles sales of the accommodation;
- marketing and advertising;
- online booking platforms;
- listings and ads on Booking.com and other platforms;
- social-media pages and campaigns;
- Facebook and other online ad campaigns;
- and further tasks set in the contract that relate to running the accommodation.
For the processing described in this notice that relates to guests — unless stated otherwise — Kuhn Tamás Zoltán, sole trader, acts as controller.
3. PRINCIPLES OF PROCESSING
The Controller processes personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Act CXII of 2011 (Infotv.) and other applicable Hungarian and EU law.
The Controller takes care that processing is:
- lawful, fair and transparent;
- for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes;
- limited to data needed for that purpose;
- accurate and kept up to date where needed;
- kept only as long as needed;
- secured with appropriate technical and organisational measures.
4. ENQUIRIES AND CONTACT
Data processed:
- name;
- email address;
- phone number, if the enquirer gives it;
- the content of the message;
- other information the enquirer gives voluntarily for contact.
Purpose: to answer the enquiry, keep contact, prepare an offer and prepare a booking.
Legal basis: if contact is aimed at a booking or contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — steps at the request of the data subject before entering a contract.
Retention: if no booking follows, as a rule at most 30 days from the last substantive contact, unless a legal claim or other lawful purpose requires longer keeping.
Please do not include unnecessary health or other special-category data in messages.
5. BOOKING AND ACCOMMODATION
Data processed may include:
- first and last name;
- email address;
- phone number;
- booking details;
- arrival and departure dates;
- number of guests;
- number of adult and child guests;
- services chosen;
- billing details;
- other information needed to provide the service.
Purpose: to create and manage the booking, keep contact, provide the stay and ordered extras, and related administration.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — performance of a contract or steps before entering a contract.
If the law requires processing of a given item, the basis is GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligation.
6. ONLINE BOOKING PLATFORMS
Services of Béri Boldogság Birtok may also be offered on external booking platforms — in particular Booking.com-on .
If the guest books through such a provider, that provider may also process personal data under its own rules.
The Controller processes personal data received from the booking provider that are needed to fulfil the booking, for the purposes in this notice.
Purpose: to receive, manage and confirm the booking, keep contact and provide the stay.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — performance of a contract or steps before a contract.
7. MANDATORY GUEST DATA AND VIZA
Under Hungarian law the accommodation provider must record specified guest data and send specified data to the VIZA system.
Purpose: to meet the legal duties to record and transmit guest data.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligation.
Mandatory guest-data processing is not based on the guest’s consent.
Sending data to VIZA is among the legal conditions for operating the accommodation.
8. NTAK REPORTING
NTAK registration number: KO26129811
Property-management software: 7H NTAK Connector 1.0
Béri Boldogság Birtok meets its reporting duty to the National Tourism Data Supply Centre (NTAK) as required by law.
According to NTAK, every domestic accommodation must be registered, and reporting is done through software that can talk to NTAK. The 7H NTAK Connector 1.0 is among the software listed by NTAK as able to report.
No personal guest data is sent to NTAK.
Only statistical data without personal data go from the property software to NTAK. According to NTAK the system does not receive, record or store personal data.
9. PAYMENT
Currently the following payment methods are available at Béri Boldogság Birtok:
- bank transfer;
- cash.
Online card payment is not available at present.
Bank transfer
For a bank transfer the Controller may see in particular:
- the payer’s name;
- account number;
- the amount transferred;
- the payment reference;
- the time of the transaction.
Purpose: to receive payment for the stay and extras, identify the payment, and meet related finance and accounting duties.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — contract; and for accounting and tax duties GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligation.
Cash payment
For cash payment the Controller processes personal data linked to the payment and the receipt under accounting and tax rules.
10. INVOICING
The invoice or legally required receipt for the stay is issued by Kuhn Tamás Zoltán, sole trader .
Data processed may include:
- billing name;
- billing address;
- further billing data required by law;
- the service used;
- the amount;
- data needed for payment.
Purpose: to issue and keep invoices or other accounting documents, and to meet tax and accounting duties.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligation.
Retention: the period set in accounting and tax law.
11. MARKETING, SOCIAL MEDIA AND NEWSLETTER
The Controller may run online marketing to promote Béri Boldogság Birtok, including on social media, booking sites and other web pages.
If the Controller sends a newsletter or direct marketing based on consent:
Data processed: name if given, email address, and data about the signup and consent.
Purpose: to send news, offers, programs and discounts.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) — consent.
A booking alone is not a newsletter signup.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
12. COMPLAINTS
Data processed may include:
- name;
- contact details;
- booking details;
- the content of the complaint;
- documents attached to the complaint;
- data about investigating and answering the complaint.
Purpose: to investigate, answer and record the complaint.
Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligation, if handling the complaint is required by law.
Complaint data are kept for the period set in consumer-protection and other law.
13. PROCESSORS AND OTHER RECIPIENTS
The Controller may use processors and other recipients as needed to run the service.
These may include in particular:
Rackhost Zrt. — hosting;
provider/operator of 7H NTAK Connector 1.0 — for running the property system and NTAK reporting;
online booking providers, in particular Booking.com — according to that provider’s own role;
the account-holding bank — to carry out bank transfers;
an accountant or bookkeeping provider — as needed for bookkeeping and tax;
the VIZA system and recipients named in law — for mandatory guest-data processing;
the tax authority (NAV) and other authorities — in cases set by law.
A Ráckevei Szt. István Gyógyáru Commercial Ltd. Partnership is not automatically a processor merely because of its role in the operating contract. If the partnership processes personal data in a given process, its role is decided from the actual circumstances.
14. COOKIES AND THE WEBSITE
Technical cookies needed for the website to work may be used.
If the site uses non-essential cookies for statistics, analytics or marketing, they are used only after the visitor’s consent where consent is required.
The visitor may change or withdraw consent to non-essential cookies at any time.

15. DATA SECURITY
The Controller uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep personal data secure.
The Controller in particular aims to prevent personal data from:
- unauthorised access;
- alteration;
- unauthorised transfer;
- disclosure;
- unauthorised deletion or destruction;
- accidental loss or damage
.
Only people who need the data for their tasks may access it.
16. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
Under the GDPR the data subject may in particular:
- to ask for information about the processing of their personal data;
- to ask for access to their personal data;
- to ask for rectification;
- where the legal conditions are met to ask for erasure;
- to ask for restriction of processing;
- where the conditions are met to exercise the right to data portability;
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- for processing based on consent to withdraw consent at any time.
The right to erasure does not mean the Controller must delete data that the law requires it to keep.
